In June of 1983, I began my criminal defense practice in Miami. More than 25 years later, I continue to provide dedicated defense to individuals in Florida, Puerto Rico and throughout the United States. I am attorney Jose M. Quinon, and together with a skilled and experienced staff, I have built a strong track record for obtaining successful results on a consistent basis for my clients.

In 1975, I graduated from Rutgers University and began practicing law in the state of Florida. Four years later, I joined the State Attorney's Office, which was led by Janet Reno at the time, and began prosecuting serious felonies, including homicide cases and capital offenses in the Major Crimes Unit of Dade County.
In 1983, I started out on my own and founded my own criminal defense firm in Miami. Since that time, I have had considerable success in a variety of criminal cases, including many high profile cases in South Florida, Puerto Rico and elsewhere. I have served as a panelist and a member for many prestigious conferences and associations and am currently a member of the Florida Bar and the Dade County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Along with the rest of my support staff, I am fluent in Spanish and often work with Spanish-speaking clients from Florida, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Columbia, Venezuela, Panama and throughout Central and South America. While I am proud of past recognition and previous successful resolutions, I continue to represent each new client with the respect and dedicated service that they deserve.
